A handmade piece presenting a man kneeling with his arms crossed. He is wearing a headdress which represents the head of a bird with its beak protruding out over his face. The body of the vessel is behind him. The neck has the image of a quetzal bird. Between the man’s legs there is a skull, suggesting an ominous purpose for this vessel.
