French Bonnetiere

Good original finish. Peg construction. Front door carved. The carving on the top section shows a bonneted lady carrying a large bag, with her hand out stretched to a beggar. She is putting something into the hat he is holding, presumably food. This panel is signed lower right, “F. Martin”. The two lower panels have a flower carved in the center, with foliage at the four corners, then the quadrants are surrounded by a geometric design. Some carving on the case on both sides of door. Two interior shelves. Condition good with minor sagging in the the front door.
